This is into Malolotja Nature Reserve from the Ngwenya side, close to Ngwenya Glass. From here we visit the Lion Cavern, the oldest mine in the world, and then walk along the Ngwenya Ridge. A long but gentle hike over the massive granite domes that extend beyond the Sibebe outcrop.  They are equally impressive if not more, thanks to the barren expanse.   The start is at Brackenhill and the route follows the track along the dam, over the saddle with views towards the Tea Road, down into the rain-forest, known for the delicate Streptocarpus flowers and onto bare rock with impressive views on Sibebe.  This view of the southern part of Sibebe will help you understand why Sibebe might be the second largest exposed granite rock in the world.   We will also …
