We meet at Ngwenya Glass Factory and drive (in own car) ta few kilometers to the start of the walk. This is into Malolotja Nature Reserve from the Ngwenya side, close to Ngwenya Glass.
From here we visit the Lion Cavern, the oldest mine in the world, and then walk along the Ngwenya Ridge.
This hike is linear trail ‘out-and-back’ so a gentle walk for those not wanting to climb the peaks. For those wanting a more challenging walk there are two different peaks along the way, one steeper than the other, but both with exceptional views from the top.
On return to Ngwenya Glass there will be brunch (‚breakfast / lunch‘) ready for you, and the Ngwenya Glass Spring Fair where you can browse the shops and see all the specials on offer.
