The start is at Brackenhill and the route follows the track along the dam, over the saddle with views towards the Tea Road, down into the rain-forest, known for the delicate Streptocarpus flowers and onto bare rock with impressive views on Sibebe. We will park at the lower end of the river by a waterfall on a tributary, and walk along and through the river to reach the second waterfall and an old, abandoned barites mine dug into the mountainside.
