Off the beaten track: Mlilwane Wanderung abseits der ausgetretenen Wege This is a new walk for the Society, exploring the old railway tunnels that were built to carry iron ore from Ngwenya to Mpaka in 1963. We will drive to Aloe House within Mlilwane Sanctuary and walk from there. After approximately 3 km walk towards the old entrance, and a gentle steady climb along the Lusushwana River, we turn off to the left, cross over the railway line and start to explore two of the three tunnels.
